Reminds me of pizza places you'll find in mountain resort towns - elk sausage, strong cheeses, and the like.
They're fairly generous on toppings/cheese. There's gluten-free crust as an option on all 12" pizzas. It's crispy enough to stand up to the toppings, poofy without being chewy, and has good flavor from oven and dusting. GF pizza is rarely done well in Boise and I think Alpine's got a winner there.
We didn't try traditional crusts, salad, or wings, but the pictures look great.
The store's only minimally renovated from when it was Pizzalchic - not fancy, but a safe bet business-wise, and I appreciate focus on food and sustainable operation first! Thanks for the new neighborhood spot.
