Came here for brunch and had a delicious pastry. It was very busy so service was a little slow. Prosciutto breakfast felt a bit same old by the end of it, the meatballs looked good. Most brunch items can be gluten free.

As a coeliac it's hard trying to find a place that can accommodate my requirements. Walk'ins are welcome at Amano, busy as they were, we were offered seats at the bar and let me say 5 stars started from that moment. Staff were attentive, polite and engaging. The food was amazing, the favours outstanding and they met my needs as a coeliac without question or hesitation. I started with a harpuca (fish) on a yoghurt base and cherry tomatoes with fresh herb dressing, 10/10. Then shared the lamb shoulder with my partner, melt in your mouth. Honestly, we have had a number of lamb shoulder dishes, this was the best and had to travel to Auckland for it. Again 10/10, so if your travelling to Auckland NZ please make the effort, you won't be disappointed.

We had a great dinner for our last night in New Zealand. Our daughter is gluten sensitive and most all of their dishes were accommodating. The Fazzoletti pasta was delicious, as was their Chicken Liver Pate entree.
