Happy Lotus Veggie Restaurant

Happy Lotus is a fully vegetarian restaurant with mainly plant based Vietnamese dishes, and some Chinese. Their menu said all the dishes are free from the 5 pungent vegetables (garlic, onions, leeks, shallots, and chives) MSG, and eggs making it easily palatable for a variety of diets. Some vegan and gluten free dishes too. They have both plant based meat replacements and vegetable focused dishes that don’t rely on meat replacements, so good for anyone regardless of why you’re choosing to eat plant based. They also are super kind, welcoming and service is so attentive!! Went with some family members and they offered all the kids (including 21 year old me) ice cream at the end. They had a freezer with a large selection including, popsicles, home made Vietnamese frozen yogurt (da ua) and soft ice cream. We talked to one of the monks/servers and mentioned how my younger cousin loves fruit and they brought out orange slices at the end for her 😭 Could not recommend this place enough!
