amigos 30A Mexican Kitchen

My experience at Amigos was excellent. The strawberry basil margarita was delicious and the bartender Kaitlyn was attentive, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. She knew the menu well and was able to make recommendations. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The chicken rice bowl is delicious and portioned well! Definitely will be back at Amigos for great service, food and atmosphere!

First, we have been to Amigos many times over the last couple years. The food in general has changed (lots of sweetness and weird sweet spices) but what prompted my first ever google review were the chips. They tasted different but it never crossed my mind that they would be flour. As someone who doesn’t eat gluten I try not to be a pain to waiters as cross contamination doesn’t bother me. But tonight I ate full gluten for the first time in ten years. It would have been nice to be told that the chips were flour since no other Mexican restaurant on earth uses flour chips. So tomorrow I will have serious flu-like symptoms. I’m mad and disappointed.
