Essential place for celiacs in Lyon. I found it very difficult to eat gluten free in the city. Luckily there was the crêperie d'Amélie that made gluten-free galettes, both sweet and savory.

We came today 11/16/2024 at 1:00 p.m. as a couple with my wife. The cadence begins with a warm welcome from the hostess who tries to see with her colleague if she can place us on a small table, not yet set up, this one replies "yeah well we can wait like everyone else" to bother this one He goes to set the table for us and places us, apologizing for his colleague's behavior. Then this young man comes to take the order very coldly and with annoyance about our questions about “gluten-free” which apparently on the weekend is mixed with the dough with gluten so for an allergic or intolerant person to avoid! We decide to order anyway because the setting is nice and we waited to eat. The pancakes arrived burnt, poorly garnished and very dry, we asked for an extra salad which was not available "on the weekend". So I put this simple star as an obligation but above all for this young girl who was very kind and understanding with us to ask for a gesture for the wait for the overcooked pancakes and the lack of professionalism of her colleague. My advice is to make sure that this young man is reframed because it can cost you especially on weekends because the people next to us were also complaining about his behavior. And also the kitchen because it could be a place where we would want to come back in a different way.

Very disappointed, I am celiac and I am told that I cannot eat a sweet pancake because there is not enough batter. It says “gluten-free” everywhere… The only positive point: the waiter is very nice and attentive.
