Anchor Bar

This is our second time at Anchor Bar and both times were great. Ashlyn went above and beyond to make my kids feel special. We love all the gluten free options! Delish!

Everywhere around here has wings that range from "technically edible by humans" to "at least it's not McDonalds." There's a certain chain around here with "wing" in its name that probably wouldn't pass off as "food" in most countries. This place though, FANTASTIC! Somehow Anchor Bar manages to make really hot wing sauce but also retain very good flavor! I've been to the original location in Buffalo and this location manages to match it perfectly! I really hope you guys stay here because your wings are unparalleled in the south. As for the other food, the Philly cheese steaks are pretty good. I'll have to try some of the other options as the menu surprisingly has a lot more than wings. Lots of gluten free items I've been wanting to try. The only thing I'd criticize would be that the tap selections aren't great for ciders. Austin East is decent, but I'd like to see more crisp ciders.
