Anderson's Tavern

Tonight we had dinner at Anderson’s, the owner Bobby was incredibly friendly made me two whiskey cocktails both were fantastic! The atmosphere was great, friendly patrons also. The fried okra brought me in, and didn’t disappoint. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly the waffles were tender! Cant wait to try a few other things on the menu! Grabbed a couple deserts to go! Many gluten free options on the menu.

I live in Sherwood. My husband and I were so excited to give it a try. I am Gluten Free, so this restaurant has plenty of both. I had the Fried Chicken (GF), Mac and Cheese (GF) and Collard Greens. I was in heaven... My husband had chicken in waffles. Then we ordered dessert, Peach Cobbler (GF) and a Snickers Pie. The staff was great. We got to talk to one of the owners. Super sweet people. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend.
