Andiamo Restaurant + Bar

My wife found this place while searching for places that are friendly to people who are gluten-intolerant. We both ordered the pasta with bolognese sauce, which was superb. Her gluten-free pasta was very tasty, as was my regular dish. The server was very friendly and attentive to our needs, and offered some good suggestions to make the evening even more enjoyable. Being that it only recently opened, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained, but it was a tad loud due to the openness of the dining area. I found it difficult but manageable to have a conversation with my wife during our time there. We will definitely go back very soon!

We won’t be back. If you have allergies, typically higher end restaurants are accommodating and professional. Not Andiamos! Although service was slow, that was expected on a Saturday night, and our waitress was very sweet! We informed our waitress about the gluten free dairy free allergy, and ordered the vegan eggplant stack along with a side of pomodoro gluten free pasta. The food runner brought it out the first time with cheese on it. We sent it back, and three minutes later a new dish arrives, with cheese removed from the top of the dish, but still embedded in the pasta…..Which tells us they scraped the cheese off and did not make a new plate. This restaurant clearly does not take allergies seriously. I am still baffled that they didn’t take it off the bill! Manager never came over. Underwhelming restaurant and bad experience. We won’t be back.
