I ordered 35 croissants, 5 of which were lactose-free, to be collected the following week, setting the collection date and time. When I went to the pastry shop to collect them on the agreed day, unfortunately, I had to wait over a quarter of an hour since the brioches had not been prepared for takeaway and, above all, the lactose-free ones I had ordered were not available, proposing alternatives to cream and chocolate that were not what I would have wanted. The lady apologized for the mix-up, but in any case I consider it unacceptable that a previously agreed order is disregarded for unspecified reasons. At least a discount or some free products would have been appropriate as a sign of apology. For the record, the traditional brioches were very good, while the lactose-free ones, being also gluten-free, were good but not exceptional. I would suggest evaluating the production of lactose-free but not gluten-free brioches, as some (few) pastry shops already offer.
