My husband booked Ankor for our anniversary dinner, and I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and our experience. From the moment that we walked in the service was outstanding and the atmosphere left nothing to be desired. It was cozy, unique, welcoming, with beautiful decor including a plant wall. The staff was amazing, from the manager (Paisley) to our waitress (Barbara) to the bartender (he made the best Caesar I may have ever had) to the chef (Danny). All of them were incredibly good at their job. My husband is celiac and this was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant regarding gluten free. They were so knowledgeable, and it did not negatively affect his experience at all. He was still able to eat most everything, and the accommodations they made to some of the food did not at all affect the taste or quality, which takes talent. The food was incredible. And honestly, for the amount of food and drinks, and the quality of it all, I thought the prices were actually very reasonable. We will be back many times!!

We just had the most amazing night at Ankor in Canmore. From Danny the amazing chef to Josh the bartender with his fabulous cocktails and Julie the somelière with her knowledge it was FANTASTIC! We had the chef's tasting menu and I would recommend it 100%. They ask about allergies on top on everything which is amazing since I am celiac. Do not hesitate! Go!
