Annie's Burgertown

This place used to be a dump that I would avoid any time anyone suggested going. After rebuilding? WOW! What a turnaround. The service and location are still great. But the food...is FANTASTIC. We've been like 10 times this summer. The Burgers are perfect. The Greek salad delicious. The Fish Sandwich fantastic. THEY HAVE MELLO YELLO! Amazing. The fries are the right mix of crispy and soft. The cheese sauce delicious. Last night I tried the Chicken Sandwich and I'm blown away. One of the best Chicken sandwiches that has ever graced my mouth. Here my only beef: they gotta fog for mosquitos or have spray or zappers or something because the bugs get unbearable after sunset and a little before. They have a gluten free bun which makes it great for people with celiac disease. Highly recommend.

The drive-up vs the usual drive-through experience is fun, and they’re pretty quick about taking orders. They take cards, but cash worked well in this setting. The burgers reminded me of a fresh off the grill at a backyard bbq burger in the best way possible; not greasy like other fast food. My wife is gluten free and she was able to get a burger with a top-tier gluten free bun. In a world where other fast food places are cutting the quality of their gluten free buns for cost, Annie’s is still serving the good buns. The chocolate malt I ordered was also excellent.
