I'm Coeliac so rarely get the chance for gluten free fish & and chips, so I was disappointed that they didn't have any GF batter left today. They offered to grill some fish for me which didn't appeal but then offered gluten free fishcakes which I was told were popular with their GF customers, so I had that and they were lovely. The portion was very generous and I couldn't finish it. They also have GF cones, so, later in my visit to Andstuther, I had an ice cream cornet. Made the trip worthwhile.

Food was excellent, but gluten free option - a disappointment- grilled fish with no seasoning in a box. Honestly, it doesn't take an effort to add some salt and a piece of lemon. It would actually make a difference. But the whole place is so busy (waiting time for a takeaway -45 minutes) that expecting this was impossible it seems.
