Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

I would have given my normal 5 because the food was really good. Everyone liked it but buyer beware the gluten free pizza is extremely expensive - $28 for a little 12" pizza. Even at lunch. Our waiter Mikee was wonderful and very hard working as he was the only server for the whole restaurant but he had no idea when I asked him how much extra gluten free crust is. He told me it's the regular price of $21.49. I was shocked when I got my bill and it was $28. I would have ordered a regular lunch caprese pizza for $13.99 if I had known that. They need to specify the upcharge for GF. Make sure to ask for the lunch menu and order strictly from that. They were very busy that day for lunch so we understand when all our meals came out at different times but it was very odd that the eggplant came out and much later the focaccia that goes with it came out. The stromboli is probably the best deal as it's basically a rolled up pizza for only $10.99. All the food was delicious. FYI The GF pizza is not good cold the next day. Needs to be warmed up. After Anthony's response I'm adding... Thank you for reaching out to me. I will definitely return again just better informed. I'll definitely try the regular crust caprese pizza lunch special next time. We felt so bad for Mikee, the one server, the day we came to Anthony's. He was the only server I saw for the lunch crowd and did a great job checking on everyone and taking care of us even though he was swamped. For most of us in our group it was our first time here. We figured it must be good with so many people eating there. Give it a try.

I am staying here on travel and was so hungry. I have gluten allergies and arrived a bit late. I ordered the gf meatball pizza delivered. Its the best gluten-free pizza I have ever had and that's saying a lot. Thanks y'all! I highly recommend!

The wings are amazing. There is no place that serves wings like Anthony’s Coal Fired does. The gluten free pizza is also amazing. It is our favorite. We loved this place when we lived in NJ and love it here in Pa as well. Highly recommended
