Aragosta Restaurant

Dog friendly patio! We were visiting from Minnesota and picked this restaurant because we were shocked to find a fancier restaurant that had a dog friendly patio. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant has an old world European vibe. After being seated, the owner came out and share information with us about the food. We had 3 guests that cannot eat gluten and 1 that cannot eat dairy and they were very accommodating. Our server Rhett was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided us with excellent service. They all were so kind to our golden retriever as well— treated him like part of the family. My favorite thing I ate was the filet mignon. The meat was perfectly cooked and had an incredible flavor from the bernaise. Highly recommend!

The food tasted fine but it wasn’t anything amazing. Definitely not worth the price though. The chef however made my family and I uncomfortable several times. He came out to talk to us about gluten free and vegan options and both times played with my little girls hair and rubbed their back. Then after dinner he did the same thing. After we had ordered he went to the back and smoked a cigarette which filled the whole restaurant up with the strong smell of cheap cigarette smoke. Then he’d go to the kitchen for a bit and come out and sit on his phone and it was just an uncomfortable experience all around. Will never go back.
