What a wonderful place. Popped in for a quick coffee. Wish I'd had longer to stop for lunch and have the delicious looking gluten free red pepper frittata and salad (£10.50). Tables were well spaced for Covid and hand sanitizer provided. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely colourful handbags and big choice of gift items for everyone including children. Plants very healthy. Plenty of parking including disabled spaces next to the entrance. I highly recommend you visit soon.

Lovely meeting place and lots of temptations await. However I was disappointed with the lack of gluten free options. I asked for the gf version of the egg mayo croissant only to be told they couldn’t do it as they only had sliced bread. I asked for an egg mayo sandwich and was told that I could have a beef or ham sandwich but not egg. I’m not a meat eater and in the end settled for frittata and salad (at twice the price) and picked the chorizo out of it. The frittata was measly in size but the ample portion of coleslaw delicious. To add to both our frustrations, the very pleasant young woman dealing with me had to keep disappearing to get answers to my questions. Perhaps some staff training would be of benefit. Nice to see gf cake on offer but to be told ‘the kitchen says they can’t put the egg mayo in sliced bread’ was bizarre. For a place with a reputation for serving good food it would be nice to see them making more effort to meet reasonable requests.
