Arnold's Burgers - BBQ & Motel

Stopped here on our way home from Memphis, where we ate a plethora of Bbq. Wasn’t sure I wanted more, but so glad we stopped! The menu was full of interesting dishes such as a guacamole burger or an apple butter burger. Mini baked potatoes and chicken or beef sticks were tempting, as well. Here’s the best part: they have gluten free options!! We will be back. Food was great, atmosphere fun, and bathrooms were clean!! We are even trying to find a reason to stay in their little motel. Probably the best food in town!

The menu is not impressive and doesn't have a diverse list of sides. They don't offer any grilled options for any meat. I asked if they had any sugar free and gluten free items, thinking their pulled pork would be. All their bbq items are covered in sauce before it's smoked and the sauce has sugar in it. I even asked about the burgers and was told they were not gluten or sugar free. What?? I chose the pulled pork thinking it probably didn't get alot of sugar since the sauce was put on before it was smoked, but it wasn't very tasty. You could tell it was extremely sweet but not in a good way. I chose green beans as my side, thinking how could they mess those up. I was wrong. My husband tried them and he thought they were cooked in butter, but we aren't sure. Whatever it was, it wasn't good. We will not be stopping here again.
