Artisanal Burger Company

My first time eating here. Overall a great experience. Burger was awesome! They have a separate gluten free menu, so you don't have to wonder what you can have. The kitchen is not GF, so even though they say they take precautions, there's likely cross contamination. The GF bun for my burger was actually really good. They have a pretty good selection of drinks, I had an espresso martini, it was a little pricy, but it was a nice date night out with the hubby.

So I go there on a daily basis sometimes every day, but let’s just say I spend about 60 bucks a week there I recently went in there and asked them to customize a burger for me because I have a gluten allergy and a few other allergies and I asked them if I could delete the fries throw in another patty on the burger that I order with the gluten-free bun And they told me no I have to pay for the whole meal even though I’m not getting the fries I said, but I’m not getting the fries and I’m adding the patty so could you just customize the price because I come in there all the time and I’m a repeat custom and I spend hundreds of dollars there they said no corporate won’t let us they want you to pay for the whole thing whether you’re getting it or not and then when she checked with the manager, the manager confirmed yes they cannot do that so I go into other restaurants around town and one in particular Max downtown West Hartford they customize mine for me and they’ve actually created a price point it’s automatically in the system when I call and the food actually taste a little bit better so just letting you know that needs to step it up a little bit with their food quality, and the fact that they have customers that spend a lot of money there if people don’t spend money there they don’t make money. They might’ve just lost a I’m trying out a place that has good food and gluten-free options.
