Ashoka Indian Restaurant - Miami

Yoandra was very attentive and helpful with the dishes. I am gluten free and she was very knowledgeable about what I was able to eat. Would highly recommend the restaurant food as well. Delicious and quick!

I’ll start by stating that I love the food from both Ashoka restaurants—either in-house or takeout you can’t go wrong. I consider the Miami location to be the flagship establishment because of the spacious and beautiful dining room with high ceilings and a pleasant dining ambience that harkens back to the family restaurants I grew up eating at with my family where you felt at home when dining there. My favorite dish is the chicken biryani but I recommend taking a look at the specials as the menu is extensive and everything that comes out looks delicious. When I return I am looking forward to the tandoori fish. There is an extensive options of great drinks as well—the mango lassi is my favorite. I consume a good deal of mangos but the flavor on that specific drink is uniquely satisfying. The service and overall experience from seating to desert is top-notch. I highly recommend Ashoka for gluten-free eaters (like myself), vegetarians, and families with children too.
