Atomic Bar

experience was quite disappointing. the servers had an attitude making the overall atmosphere quite unwelcoming. the food was mediocre at best. my friend is celiac and they put no effort in accomodating to her. when she asked about the inconsistencies in the menu (a large fish and chips is gluten free but a kids one is not) they did not understand and just brushed it off. my friend left her food untouched because of her uncertainty.

asked for assistance with gluten free options and received beyond unacceptable response from staff. server was rude when i questioned why there was additional charge to swap non gf chips for chat potato’s or veg and advised neither were safe options for gf despite menu stating they were. poor service and genuine rudeness. its not a choice for me to eat gluten free and i dont think it is too much to ask for small adjustments on a pretty basic meal. ended up ordering a pizza, which was soggy, the base was upside down and genuinely inedible. met with rude and unwilling staff when asked for a refund, woman laughed as she explained “it’s gluten free it’s not going to taste good” which honestly such a poor response especially from a “family run business”. i’ve been celiac my whole life and not once have i ever been spoken to in such a way or received such a meal. leaving and will not be returning.

These people who are working at the restaurant are the problem, the staff kept on bringing the wrong orders to people and we were waiting for our food for an hour and 15 minutes just for us not to eat it because one of the cooks touched his hair and played with his hair which who knows if its dirty and then proceeds to touch our food and they also gave a gluten allergic customer gluten even though they asked for no gluten and now they are getting sued.
