Not a great experience. My friend is lactose intolerant and gluten free so she ordered the gluten free pasta with marinara sauce. When it arrived, it was covered in cheese. This was not listed on the menu so she hadn’t thought to mention it prior but she nonetheless apologized and explained she was also allergic to dairy. The waitress was polite and took it back to the kitchen, saying the chefs would remake her order. Our table was very close to the kitchen, which had an open window, and so just before the waitress brought out the new order of pasta, we very clearly heard the chef say to the waitress “If she tells you she’s allergic to parsley, I’m throwing her out of the restaurant.” We were the only people in the restaurant at this time so there’s no question that this was a comment on my friend’s order. We found this very inappropriate and unprofessional. The food itself was fine but nothing special. The pasta was overcooked.
