Aurora at the Celeste

Enjoyed Aurora as part of magical dining month. Entrees were all exceptional, including several options for those with gluten allergies. The Supernova dessert upgrade was an experience that can't be beat!

I went with friends, and we all agreed that this restaurant was five-star experience! Let's start with the staff. The day before our reservation, we had to change our arrival time (as we wanted to experience happy hour, too), and I talked to Madison. She was so pleasant and had no problem adjusting our time. She said happy hour pricing is good, both at the bar and in the restaurant. We arrived at the bar, and we had the pleasure of having Brittney as our bartender. She made some great suggestions and served our drinks quickly and with fun banter. I also met the Manager, Andrea, at the bar and she agreed to let the hostess know we would be 10-15 minutes late for our reservation as we were enjoying our drinks at the bar. (I love the fact that there were no negative looks or comments for the reservation changes. That is saying something about the staff here!) We then went to the hostess stand and we greeted by Layla and Sarah. Both were so nice when we apologized for the late start. Sarah showed us to two tables, and we selected the one in the more private area. A shout out to Layla for her great personality and coming over to take our picture later that evening when we were attempting a selfie. She knows how to take care of the customer! We were greeted at the table by our amazing server, Ethan! From the moment he started joking with us and providing lively conversation upon arrival, we knew we were in for a five-star treatment! Now for the food and drinks. We all got a kick out of the Specialty drink menu as they were all 12 signs of the Zodiac. We tried the Aries (coconut rum), the Gemini (vodka), the Aquarius (vodka) and the Cancer (vodka). All were great and some were sweeter than others based on personal preferences. My favorites-Aquarius and Cancer. For appetizers, we shared the Jackfruit "Tostachos" (excellent and plenty of it), the Parmesan Pesto Arancini (pesto risotto balls-very good), and the Duck Nachos (another hefty portion and tasty). All three were gluten free and the flavor of each was amazing! For the main course, we tried the Bison Back Ribs (the honey BBQ sauce was it and the meat fell off the bone), the Grilled Filet Medallions (heaven!!) and the Heirloom Cauliflower (another gluten free gem). For dessert, we had the blueberry bread pudding (excellent with that Frangelico whipped cream) and the pistachio cake (a very light perfection). The restaurant has a very comfortable ambiance with a touch of class. There is also valet parking, and it is free when your ticket is validated by the staff. We all agreed we were so glad we got to experience Aurora. We will definitely be talking this place up with our friends.
