Aux Berges de la Vézère

A magnificent view, friendly but also very professional service, and most important: a delicious menu. This lovely restaurant was our introduction to the delights of the region and we had a wonderful evening. A person who absolutely must eat “gluten-free” and a 4 year old girl are also a treat in our group.

This restaurant is exceptional due to the quality of the dishes and the welcome. We have the pleasure of discovering Périgord products through real chef's cuisine at truly affordable prices. Everything is fresh and homemade, which makes it possible to adapt to specific needs (dairy-free/gluten-free options possible and numerous). The service is both warm, friendly and worthy of a large establishment. The chef is very attentive and did not hesitate to remake a dish and bring it in person when it was needed. We ate there many times during our stay (dishes and pizza) and the Berges de la Vézère will remain by far our favorite restaurant in Périgord! During the tourist season, don't hesitate to come at the start of the service or to wait a little bit because the address is very busy!
