Their menu is NOT all day. Just a heads up because it’s not posted on Google OR on their main page of their website, and I drove 30 minutes out of my way (one way) to support the business and get a toastie. I’m
Celiac so finding a place that’s dedicated gf (wooo hoo!) - I couldn’t tell you business I would want to support more, but please update your website so others can make an informed choice about if this will meet their needs ❤️ had I known my item wasn’t available when I wanted to eat, I just wouldn’t have drove out of my way for it and decided to come another time.
I don’t do a lot of sweets anymore and get nauseous with too much egg or grease, so I researched and knew what I wanted before getting in my car. I arrive, wait my turn and the employee tells me I can’t order a toastie for another 20 minutes. By this time, I am the only customer and sit down. That’s the amount of extra time I had given myself for cushion for my next appointment. So I had a critical decision, go without food until who knows when I could find another gf option that wasn’t a pastry OR prioritize my health and sacrifice my appointment. So I did sacrifice my appointment hoping this toastie and Mac and cheese would just rock my world and be worth missing my plans. And the food just didn’t rock at all. The bread had nice flavor, but I didn’t love the texture and didn’t care for the mac and cheese at all - dense and congealed together noodles in one big ol’ clump. $20 plate for that too.
Maybe I should have made myself sick on sweets instead; the pastries did look fluffy and very well made, and one guest bragged on the bagel while I was coming in.
I will not be returning but encourage others to try other items and am glad there is a celiac safe option out there.
