This was a very interesting exposure to Ethiopian cuisine. There were plenty of vegan and gluten free options. I was not aware when we went that the food was meant to be shared or that you eat it with you hands; you pick up the food with a kind of bread called teff. The owner was extremely kind and open about talking about Ethiopian customs. We are really glad that we took the time to try something new. We purchased a bottle of the homemade honey wine. It is non alcoholic. It is very similar to kombucha. I found the smell to be a little off putting, but the flavor to be delicious. It is definitely worth trying. We will definitely go back.

The staff was very helpful, patient. Our party had wide range of experience with the cuisine. From an Ethiopian to a gluten free, non injeri eating person who only previously had two or three dishes. They were great with all of us.
