During a weekend getaway to Lyon with my husband, we discovered AYLA by chance. And what a happy coincidence! We booked the day before and were able to get a place for two for lunch. Let's talk about the place first. As soon as we walked in the door, we were transported into a tastefully decorated room. It's warm and very welcoming. You immediately felt at home. The staff is also very warm, welcoming, attentive, cheerful, and helpful. They have excellent knowledge of their menu, and we received a beautiful presentation of the dishes (specialties, spices, etc.) to share, and we received excellent advice. I am gluten-intolerant, and they told me they could easily accommodate my needs when I made my reservation. And that was indeed the case; I was also entitled to my gluten-free bread. Thank you. We have since arranged to return, and the surprise was there again. We can't wait to return.
