Aysgarth Falls Hotel & Restaurant

From the moment we arrived at this hotel we knew we’d made the right choice. As we had the dog with us, we were given one of the cottages. This was the perfect size for the 4 of us, having a kitchen, fridge and even a dishwasher. The patio was huge and private allowing us to relax without worrying about our dog getting out, while enjoying the fantastic views. We had dinner in the attached restaurant. I had the Sunday roast which was absolutely amazing. I have coeliac disease (so no Yorkshire pudding) but the staff were extremely attentive of my dietary needs and couldn’t do enough for us. My husband and son had the burger each, which was huge and ‘the best burger’ they’d ever had. My husband isn’t normally one for exaggerating about food, so it must have been good. My daughter had the fish and chips which was massive. It definitely went down well after exploring the falls. After a peaceful nights sleep we enjoyed the breakfast - full English for us and pancakes for my son. The service was phenomenal, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming. I fully recommend this for anyone exploring the Dales and we will definitely be back. Well done to the team!

We booked Sunday lunch here for a party of 8 adults, including 1 needing gluten free food and 1 vegan! 😁 The staff were efficient, friendly and extremely polite. They had a choice of starter, main and sweet for the vegan ( she nearly took up residence) and the gluten free member of our party was well provided for (including gravy, much to her delight). For all of us the meal from starters, through mains to sweets was well presented and delicious despite the fact that the place was packed. Well done, we will definitely return.
