Bären Buchsi

The food (including the gluten-free option) was delicious and anything but run-of-the-mill. Vegetarians also get their money's worth. The garden terrace is lovely with its large shady trees. But the benches without cushions make it a disaster for long periods of time. The service was friendly, but totally inefficient. There were three of them for seven garden tables (the restaurant inside was empty). They stood around, preferred folding napkins to bringing us menus and drinks, and for dessert, the gluten-free sorbet had a biscuit stuck in it. That shouldn't happen with guests who have celiac disease.

The birthday party was simply great, even though the "birthday child" wasn't feeling so well at the moment. The restaurant was the perfect choice, the food was excellent, an unforgettable evening. We would especially like to thank you for the great service! The bear boss was so accommodating and first treated my partner because he had injured himself. Gave my daughter perfect advice regarding celiac disease. I can hardly put it into words because such great service at the table has become very rare. But we were always well served at Bären Buchsi and always enjoy coming back. Everything is perfect from the reservation to the farewell. Even if the restaurant is full. Warm welcome, from Lucerne.

Super friendly and attentive service, very good food - from salad to schnitzel and cordon bleu to warm chocolate cakes. There is also an excellent gluten-free menu with a separate menu. Unreservedly recommended!
