Beechwood Cafe

I have celiac disease and this place was absolutely great for me, delicious safe food with separate GF fryer for fries. My kids loved the (gluten) challah French toast. My burger was *actually* seasoned well, and cooked well. 10/10 would totally come back!

We drove for two hours to meet up with friends today and came upon this incredible little spot! I think it’s safe to say we’ll be driving two hours just to come back. The food was so delicious with a variety of options to suit everyone - some of the options were also very gourmet. I was highly impressed by the quality of the food as well - organic ketchup, homemade breads and jams, fresh ingredients, lots of gluten free options, real eggs. Definitely not fast food, but still received it all without waiting too long! We showed up with 5 children and there was something that each of them loved. The staff were all so friendly and kind. The whole place had a very warm feel. I wish I had taken pictures but we were all enjoying it too much to think of that! All of this to say… highly recommend :)

The food was delicious with high quality ingredients. The service was friendly & kind. They had actual gluten free menu items filled with flavor! I had a gluten free burger on their amazing gf bun, with their dedicated gf fries! That’s right, they actually know about GF & care about it! (Very hard to find in these parts!) This is so much better than the “salad w/no croutons, unsure about dressings” response you get from most restaurants in Mid-Michigan! I’m so glad I stumbled across them. You should check them out!
