This is such a fun place! Bulgarian restaurant. The vibe is very fun, with club music, plants, a trellis, some outdoor seating, and interesting booth setups and upholstered chairs that are different from what you normally see. The service is very European, so be prepared to be left alone until you ask for the check and allowed to linger and not bothered all the time with questions. According to the waitress, the sausages should all be gluten-free with no breadcrumbs added. I'm gluten-sensitive and was able to enjoy the kebabche and kuifte sausage things with lutenitza red pepper sauce/spread, and on another occasion the chicken livers. I am not celiac, though, and you might need to inquire further if you are. My favorite things on the menu by far are the sausages on that sausage platter (kebabche, kuifte/kofta, and the spiral sausage), which you can buy a la carte or in a combination plate. They have such good spice mixtures and taste like really quality meat. I feel healthy after eating them, and I'm pretty picky about my food (I eat only grass-fed meat at home). They're good with the lutenitza red pepper spread. After 7pm one day we were there, they had live music. The only con is that the music level went way up and down for a while as they shifted from daytime to evening mode at the restaurant and at times it was too loud to talk over. Please patronize this place and make sure it sticks around! It's such a fun restaurant and such an interesting change of pace from your average restaurants around here.
