With 3 celiacs in the family, food on trips is often a problem. But we had a positive experience at this fast food restaurant. The cheerful girl at the till said they had gluten-free fritters as soon as I asked about gluten-free. Very positive! (Many restaurants say that chips are gluten-free, but when they are fried in the same oil as, for example, onion rings and nuggets, there are gluten residues in the oil which is enough to cause a serious reaction in someone with celiac disease.) Based on the menu, all burgers could be made with gluten-free bread. 3 of the other dinner dishes were also gluten-free, according to the well-marked allergen menu.
