BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I have a gluten allergy, so when I see that restaurants acknowledge gluten and gluten friendly foods in their menu I usually assume it is a safer place to eat. My meal came with a side of fries and since the fries themselves were not on the menu anywhere on their own for me to see if it had the gluten friendly symbol on it, I asked the server if they were gluten free and they confidently said yes. Once I got home I started feeling sick and searched for the allergen menu online only to find that the fries specifically say they contain wheat. Please take allergen training for employees more seriously.

I had such a lovely date night with my boyfriend here in December. I was so happy that there were a variety of gluten free options that tasted great. Our server Jonathan G was really helpful and went above and beyond. I would absolutely come back because of him.
