Gluten Free Is Not a Trend. It’s My Son’s Life. We chose BJ’s because they advertise gluten free options. We made it very clear multiple times that our 2 year old has celiac disease and needed a gluten free bun. The food came out, and like any hungry toddler, he started eating his burger. Five minutes later, the server walked over with the gluten free bun and an apology. By then, the damage was already done. You didn’t just make a small mistake. You hurt my child. He may look fine right now, but over the next several days and weeks, he’s going to suffer because of this. He will vomit, have diarrhea, lose weight, and experience painful gut inflammation all because basic precautions weren’t taken. When you advertise gluten free options, families like mine trust you with something that is not optional. It’s medical. We put our trust in you, and you broke it in the worst way. If your team isn’t trained to take allergies and celiac seriously, then you should not offer these options at all. Please understand, this wasn’t an inconvenience. This was real, lasting harm to a little boy who depends on adults to keep him safe.

Rocky hooked us up! She had great energy and recommended fun cocktails. Great entrée, I had the steak wedge salad, and my boyfriend had the salmon. Both were yummy! We had the gluten-free bouzouki with the orange ice cream for Halloween and the crackle chocolate on top. It was amazing.! Thank you Rocky!
