BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

My daughter had the chicken parmigiana and it was fantastic. I had the brisket bacon cheeseburger and I loved it, too. The gluten free pepperoni pizza is exactly like the frozen ones from Costco. Avoid at all costs. The French fries were perfectly cooked. The hostess took a full four minutes to greet us; the stand was empty. The waiter was average. The space itself is open and pleasant.

We came to town for an event at the Lansing Center. My wife being a Celiac, finding places to eat that are good and gluten-free can be a challenge. We found this place through search and it mentioned gluten-free items. We reviewed the menu and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. My wife had one of the steaks; I had the pizza and the chocolate cookie thing. They offer several local microbrews, of which I had the porter. The service was quick, friendly, and appropriately paced. There's quite a few other things we would have liked to have tried . Will visit again when we return to town.
