BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I felt comfortable coming to BJs because they advertise items that are specifically gluten sensitive on their menu. I ordered a salad off of the “gluten sensitive” menu. It came with croutons on it (gluten). I let our waiter know I had celiac disease, which is a severe allergy to gluten, and asked if they could remake it without croutons. 5 minutes later they proceeded to bring out what was clearly the same salad because there were croutons still in it and breadcrumbs all over where they had picked off the croutons. Not cool. I hate being a jerk but allergies are a serious thing. If you can’t accommodate them, please don’t advertise that you do. People can get very sick from this.

My wife and I tried this place after receiving a rave review from a customer of mine. I have a gluten sensitivity and the amount of gf friendly menu items was a welcome sight. our server Katherine was a delight and very attentive.
