It was just delightful really. My father really enjoyed the fact that there were gluten free options (for beer and food). The food was exactly what I was anticipating from an English pub style location - definitely felt like an immersive experience for non-English folk. It sort of felt like what one would read about in books and had that cozy, burrow-like atmosphere. The staff were genuine and had a sense of humour anyone would warm towards. Particularly to the young fellow who took a photo of us and said he'd only take a photo if we remembered to smile. Hope to come again :)

Found this place on our way home from the lake District, great place! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much. Great menu with plenty to choose from including loads of vegetation/gluten free. Good prices and quick service. Food was plated lovely and tasted great!
