The food was amazing and everything could be made gluten free. I loved my kale and sausage pasta dish and wished I went with friends to split more dishes but I was traveling alone. The bartenders were friendly and the ambiance wa nice.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Bend. Reservations a must, unless you want to chance sitting at the first come bar. Food excellent, w a ton of Gluten Free options.

We were able to get seats at the bar, which was a first, usually they are booked and nothing available. The food was absolutely delicious but the service was terrible. After we ordered, our server/bar tender just disappeared to the other end of the bar and completely ignored us. Our appetizer came in, our drink, our entrees and not once did the server come around to get us more water or even ask us how our meal was. After finishing our meal we waited for the server to come around and nothing. At the point I got annoyed and started tracking time, it took 20 minutes and then we finally asked for the bill and left. On out way out, spoke to the manager and was told ‘he’d talk to the staff’. Normally, service at the bar is quick and efficient, this was the complete opposite. Edit/update: I’m allergic to gluten. Was very clear about my allergy to the staff. Was assured fries were cooked in separate fryer and steak was GF. Not even an hour after dinner I started having allergic reaction with hives all over my legs. I discredited it, as I was assured food was GF. Now, couple of days later, I had the leftover steak and not even one hour later I start getting hives all down my legs and slowly creeping up my torso. If you’re celiac or allergic to gluten, I wouldn’t risk it. This is a first, getting glutened over steak dinner.
