If you are visiting Crete don't miss this tavern, we liked it so much we went there twice.
You will find a generous offer of typical meat dishes and various traditional appetizers.
The staff is a delight in kindness and availability even to the needs of the most complex customers (allergic and celiac).
When you arrive, an appetizer with bread and olive pâté and fresh tomato sauce is served while you wait.
Some waiters speak Italian, but obviously everyone speaks English.
Among the most recommended dishes are the mixed grill for two people (very filling) and the souvlaki at honest prices.
At the end of dinner they serve the classic raki with a plate of fresh watermelon or melon.
Among the desserts, try the Cretan crepe with cheese and honey.
