I gave her a printed card from celiactravel.com to take to the kitchen to ask, and she came back with good news. The chef brought out the carpaccio with a separate dish of frites that he explained were not GF, so I let others in my party eat them. We enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere, and the food was excellent.
