My husband and I were excited to try this place, noted ahead of time that they had items on the menu that were gluten free and some vegan options (which is helpful for my dairy allergy). We ordered and found that most things on the menu that were marked gf were in fact not safe for anyone with celiac as it had cross contamination.- if this is the case a restaurant should not label this as gf. I ordered the only thing on the menu marked as gf and vegan. Shortly after the manager came out and informed me that their chef had made the sauce with heavy cream. They said they would make some sort of stir fry for me that was cooked in a separate skillet. The “meal” that came out was completely inedible. Not only was the garlic so overwhelming it was spicy, but to my horror the chicken was RAW. Would recommend going just about anywhere else in wolfeboro and avoiding this place.

I booked this restaurant for my rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding because they assured me everything could be made gluten free multiple times. We had many conversations about the foods chosen and I was clear that everything had to be safe for people with celiac disease because I have it and many of my guests do as well. The night of the rehearsal dinner I ate several shrimp before learning that they had dried it in flour and then rinsed the flour off. The manager became defensive when I was upset and said that “he told me the shrimp couldn’t be made gluten free.” I certainly would not have ordered it if that was the case. Do not recommend!!
