Back Porch Drafthouse

We love BPD! We go every time we are in the Roanoke area or have a mani/pedi day. Our favorites include the Josh Plate, the Sweet Dixie Pecan Chicken Salad, and the So Gouda Mac & Cheese bites. This past weekend, I tried the Barnyard Freak burger (pictured) and OMG [drool]. It was amazing! The smoked pulled pork really gives it that extra kick of flavor, and the egg was perfectly runny. I even subbed for a GF bun (damn gluten allergy) and still ... best burger on the menu (so far). To top it off, the beer is ice cold, and the GM, Chris, is very personable. Ask him to tell you a joke the next time you're in. 😉 But be prepared; don't say I didn't warn you. 😅

Good food. I got the french dip. Good flavor and au jus. Good place to watch the game and hang out. Gluten free options for signature burgers.
