Good beer, awesome atmosphere! We enjoyed coming here for a family mother's day get-together.
We had a problem with a gluten allergy, though. Our server asked if anyone had an allergy, and when my wife told her she had a gluten allergy (Celiac Disease), the server brought out a gluten free menu. When our food came out, the server said "here's the gluten free meal", and my wife ate it.
She started feeling sick a few minutes later. Turns out the server never entered the meal as gluten-free, so the poor kitchen staff didn't know to cook it that way.
In most cases this would lead to a one or two star review, but the manager (Marcus) came out and apologized, explained what happened, and took good care of us on the bill. While that doesn't solve the problem, Marcus was clearly embarrassed that it happened, he apologized, and he took ownership, which most managers fail to do... I have no doubt he'll address the issue with his staff. For the way he handled things, we'll definitely be back and give the place another shot, and hopefully I can update this to 5 stars!
But a word of advice: triple check with the staff if you have an allergy, and question anything that looks like it might have been prepared incorrectly - better to be safe and have to wait for another meal to be prepared!
