C
Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. The food was incredible and they have a ton a vegan and gluten free options. Even for the dishes that aren't vegan or GF its face, there are options for many to make it compatible. The digital menu and seamless payment made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend.

Went to barbae's during a local convention for food. I have Celiac disease so I have to eat a gluten free diet. When we arrived the digital menu had a lot of the menu blacked out, including most of the gluten free options. I decided to go nextdoor to grab a rice bowl from the taco place and then bring it back to eat with my friends who had ordered over $40 of food. The waitress followed me to the table and as I sat down she frantically told me I could not bring outside food in. When explaining that it was for my allergy I was again told I needed to remove the food for liability reasons. When my friends got their food, both of their orders had been swapped and the sides were incorrect. My friend's decided to leave with their food when I was told I couldn't stay with mine. When we went to pay there was an 18% gratuity automatically applied to add insult to injury. I won't be returning to this place and would recommend anyone with a gluten allergy be aware you may not have options readily available.
