“Low gluten not no gluten”
Food was really nice and the gluten free bread surprisingly so! They also made a point of highlighting that the sausages were not gf so there is definitely some awareness here…
*HOWEVER*
This is NOT a place for coeliacs or the sensitive gluten intolerant - they do give the usual disclaimer at the start re contamination, small kitchen etc, but they REALLY mean it here and don’t actually take any measures at all to avoid it - we were sat by the kitchen and thus saw the chef slicing the gluten free bread on the same chopping board, with same knife as all the other bread. It took me by surprise for a venue that go to all the effort of baking their own gf bread!
They do offer the gf bread to purchase but given the XX risk on display it’s probably not one I’d recommend if some normal breadcrumbs will make you sick.
Otherwise very friendly staff and good quality food and coffee
