Bakewell Fish & Chips

Very friendly staff. The young man who served us was very careful to give us exactly what we wanted. Knowledgeable regarding gluten free dietary requirements. There was no awkward silence as we waited for food to cook as he happily chatted and at one point was joined by someone from the back. We observed this friendly approach several times as others came in for food.

I was really looking forward to having some gluten free fish/chips. I was quite disappointed, when I asked the gentleman behind the counter. Do you service gluten free chip/fish, to be told they ONlY do chips GF no fish. Which I found very strange dispite the review saying others have had GF chips/fish ??? I was hungry so took the chips, in the end and they were very nice, just a shame about the curry sauce and fish part. Never mind. Over all 3 stars I feel is fair, plus price wasn't bad either and the wait wasn't long either.
