Hands down my favourite restaurant in Perth. Actually holds a special place in my heart, I have taken my parents here from Melbourne to experience great Australian cuisine. I haven’t had a dish that wasn’t good, portion sizes are also great. I’d highly recommend the kangaroo and the pork belly. Bring back the meringue!! That was a killer. Have included photos of both my times here at Balthazar. It is a little hard to find at night, doors are quiet hidden and the sign is subtle. Definitely a hidden gem.
Not to mention, I eat meat but my parents are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. The chefs were able to accomodate accordingly, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s not just about serving an edible dish, it’s about delicious food for anyone with or without dietary requirements. See you soon Balthazar.
