We had an excellent experience here! Our server, along with many other servers, were very attentive and always asking if we needed anything. Later that evening, the manager even came out and walked around asking everyone how they were doing. Our server would also come out and give us an update on when our food was coming out which was appreciated. Our server was also very insistent on pouring our drinks for us. My family and I are gluten free and when my parents came to this restaurant in January, they didn’t have many options. She complained about this and asked if they could put more options on in the future. When we went back last night we found that they made a huge adjustment to the menu and had many more options!! They even had gluten free soya sauce!!!! We really appreciated this!! We were impressed because that shows that this place takes constructive criticism seriously to make everyone’s experience enjoyable. We were also very happy to see that they had a very nice bottle of organic wine that we got. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and we will be back again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Went to Bamboo House to celebrate my (actual) Birthday, there were six of us. Let me start off by saying the WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I have ever had! It started off when we arrived, they informed us it was cash only because the credit card machine was down due to the internet outages but were very quick to offer us a ride down the hill to an ATM machine (that works via internet I am sure). If it wasn’t my Birthday celebration, we most likely would have left at that point. We go to the bar and bonus it’s happy hour then the bartender informs us that if we have a table reservation we cannot partake in the happy hour at the bar. She conceded and allowed us to have three drinks half off there were six of us. How big of them! Another couple at the bar told us that they were getting horrible service because half their staff walked out that day. Ahhh now the cash business makes sense, they possibly couldn’t make payroll We got to the table and right off the bat the service was bad, they wouldn’t make adjustments for my celiac and lactose sensitivity. We ordered appetizers and wine, and they brought the wrong wine a more expensive one than we ordered. When clearing the appetizers, the server spilled the remnants on to my dress and did not even acknowledge. We get the check they automatically add 18%, we scrub together all the cash we possibly had and was $25 short on a $1000 check. Based on the service we received they did not deserve 18% so we left. The server chased us down the driveway and got the manager and we shouted over the $25.00. I told her to call the authorities because there was definitely some funny business with this “cash” business. She would not let it go, then a kind lady who was waiting for our car to move gave us the money, then the valet guy asked for $10 bucks. Thanks for ruining my Birthday!
