Bamboo Island Bar

We had a wonderful time here!!! We were visiting Anna Maria Island for our honeymoon!! The restaurant is beautiful with a wonderful atmosphere! We sat on the open balcony and you could see down onto Bridge Street. We were greeted with a friendly voice on the phone Brady, who turned out to be a wonderful bartender and waiter. Between him and Maria we had amazing service. We loved them both!! My husband and I started with drinks I live in lemon drop martini for myself and a Moscow Mule for him. The appetizers (both gluten free) were knock your socks off Bali calamari and the Machu Piccu, bacon and cream cheese loaded baked potatoes. The calamari with garlic and olive oil sauce was so good I could have drank it! We also shared the loaded potatoes (gluten free) with butter sour cream and cheese, so delicious! For entrées, I ordered the Vicenza - (gluten free pasta) Seafood fettuccine (clams, shrimp, octopus, and calamari) on a buttery sauce with cherry tomatoes! I ate every bite!! my husband had the Rio, steak and potatoes. After dinner, they brought us out a scoop of ice cream with congratulations written on the plate in strawberry sauce ! They also gave us a gift! A wine bottle with little lights inside that you could turn on and off they were the sweetest people!! The owners came out and spoke to us and we told them how wonderful the restaurant is. The food was absolutely delicious!! You must try this place!! We will be back!

Food and drinks were excellent! Great gluten free options too, even for those with celiac.

The food was extremely tasty. My daughter has to eat gluten and dairy free, and there was a wide set of options for her to select from, including deserts. It is so nice to see a place that has options like this and still maintains high quality and tasty food. I would definitely recommend going her.
