Banjo Paterson Inn

We enjoyed our stay at Banjo Paterson Inn. The rooms are modern, clean and tidy. Our bathroom was a bit on the small side and the window overlooking the bins not as visually pleasing as our friends with a lake view, but that's what you get when you book the last room available. The buffet breakfast is perfect before a big day on the slopes and gluten free options meant I didn't go without. Overall a good spot with a variety of food options to keep everyone happy.

We were staying at Banjo 3 days for new year. Location is within walking distance to shopping centres, cinema and visitor centre. Check in/out was fast and efficient. Breakfast served complimentary yummy hot food such fresh mushroom, poached and scrambled eggs, good quality yoghurt and juices, even a gluten free bread. Even it was a simple breakfast, we felt it was cooked and prepared with care. It was checked and refilled regularly. We loved how friendly the staffs at dining room (breakfast). One particular lady was chatty while working efficiently. She always smiling and remembered little things about her various customers. Her consistent greeting to all customer was warm and genuine truly will make anyone day better (thank you!). Lunch and dining were nice with reasonable price. Chilling at the bar is recommended, weekend live music, various alcohol and non alcohol drinks suit any budget, with cosy indoor and outdoor settings. Bed was comfy with clean sheets and basic room amenities. I’m not sure if our room has undergone the reno (looked like haven’t). The downside is noises that come from the bar. I’m not a light sleeper so I didn’t have problem with that. Others would. Having a good sound proofing in the room would make the whole experience better. Other than that, I’d highly recommended this hotel for service, location and value for money. Service 5 stars. Location 5 stars. Value 5 stars. Cleanliness 4 stars. Amenities 4 stars.
