Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before going to a social engagement and it served the purpose well. We got the avocado and mango rolls and the vegetarian rolls. Both selections were good and I'd have no problem getting them again. The things that pull this off the 5 start mark for me are:
1. The atmosphere is just weird - they had TVs on but all that was playing was a constant advertisement for the Dish Network (it would have been far better to just turn the TVs off) and there were employee cell phones going off enough to be distracting.
2. As a gluten free eater, I was nervous over their seeming lack of knowledge in this area and NO markers on the menu (and no separate menu) to let one know what could be made gluten free. It did turn out fine but I really don't like gambling with whether or not I'm going to have a gluten reaction when I'm on my way to an event.
3. Our appetizer arrived after our meal was on the table which was really only a big deal to me because it was just salted edamame beans which were ordered at least 15 minutes before our food and I know they take literally 3 minutes to cook.
4. We were brought the wrong check and had to wait around until the waiter was back in sight to get the correct one.
5. They weren't busy at all so the wait for service and food seemed excessive.
So if I were in the area and needed to grab a bite - and time wasn't a big factor, I'd go in again. I did enjoy the food. But, if I were looking for a pleasurable dining experience, this wouldn't be on my list.
