Been here several times over the past few months and had set out to try all the drinks in the Modernist Series. I came in tonight to finally try the list drink on my list, the Cedar & Apple Cider. The drink was fantastic in appearance and taste. My wife has a gluten allergy and I love that we can safely have everything on their small plates except for the brioche bread. My wife also does not drink but the team here at Bar Chef have no problem whipping out freestyle mocktails to whatever flavour notes she's feeling that night. Tonight it was something with vanilla and lavender and this was one of the best mocktails we've both ever tried. I would also like to shoutout Annabelle who's been our server the past few times we've been here. She remembered that we had been here a quite a few times recently and brought friends with us other times. She delivered some fantastic smoking treats to our table at the end of the night, on the house. This type of hospitality is why I will continue to frequent Bar Chef and continue to bring friends and family to try the great drinks!
